点评：I am a member of Chapel-en-le-Frith Male Voice Choir. After rehearsal on a Monday evening a few of us pop into The Old Cell for a couple of drinks and a chat.
It is fabulous! There is a wonderful wood burning stove which keeps the place lovely and warm. There are always 3 or 4 real ales to choose from as well as several lagers (if that is your preference) together with ciders and a variety of gins and much more including low and zero alcohol options. Tim & Jane (owners) also brew their own ale so frequently one of Tim's beers will be on sale and they are always well worth trying. Allie (and sometimes Annie if she is covering for Allie or has swapped shifts from a Wednesday) are lovely, always bright and cheerful and ready to have a chat and a joke. The regulars are warm and friendly and happy to chat whilst you are being served. It is one of the nicest and friendliest pubs that I have ever encountered which is why we continue to turn up on a Monday and have done for several years now. This might sound too good to be true but it is a very special place!
