Wonderful week in Rwanda – highly recommended

点评：We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Rwanda for a week in August. We originally planned our trip mainly around trekking to see the gorillas, but after researching the rest of the country, we decided to stay longer — and we certainly weren’t disappointed. In fact, we wished we had stayed even longer! We will definitely return in the future for a more in-depth visit.
Rwanda is a beautiful, remarkably clean country, and we were struck by how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The constant smiles were infectious.
A huge part of what made our trip so enjoyable was our guide and driver, Manzi. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He was an excellent driver and an incredibly knowledgeable guide. He seemed to know everyone in Rwanda and was warmly greeted wherever we went, from hotels and national parks to the airport.
Manzi was brilliant at spotting wildlife and birds and seemed to know the name of everything we saw. He was also wonderfully patient while I photographed even the smallest creatures and helped me keep a very extensive spotting list! He handled everything from Rwanda’s excellent main roads to the occasional more challenging ones with great skill — the famous “African massage” included!
Our safari truck was very comfortable, and Manzi took great pride in keeping it clean throughout the trip.
We would happily recommend Primate Safari to our family and friends. Thank you for a fantastic experience — we loved Rwanda and hope to return!
