Bentall Centre的点评
点评：I am of an age where The Bentalls Centre was the most fantastic place to visit. Of course times change, sadly not for the better. Riding on the No:64 bus, I would take our two young sons to Bentalls, Silver Cafe on the High Street for breakfast, and a stroll around Bentalls where you were NEVER disappointed ! Such a wonderful experience warm friendly staff, welcoming and professional. Yesterday, I decided to look around the centre before going into Fenwicks. I was looking for a particular item of clothing I had seen in The Daily Express. Nobody on the shop floor to ask, I walked (limped) to the till, where a young lady was looking at her mobile. I hovered for a while, on stepping foreward she actually looked up at me. Very politely, and with a smile, (the way how I was brought up) and made my request. Mm! no she said, nothing like that ! I explained about the Express advert, and so helpful (NOT) pointed her finger in directions "here and there, maybe over there ? " I was not looking for £14.00 sale goods, but something more chic and and of a higher price range. Not that it matters to you, or your staff, albeit I will never shop in this store again, an absolute disgrace to treat customers so dismally.
翻译：我这把年纪，本托尔斯购物中心（The Bentalls Centre）曾是我最爱去的地方。当然，时代变迁，可惜的是，如今的本托尔斯购物中心却不如从前。以前，我会坐64路公交车，带着两个年幼的儿子去本托尔斯购物中心，然后在商业街的银咖啡馆（Silver Cafe）吃早餐，再逛逛本托尔斯购物中心，那里从来不会让人失望！真是太棒了！员工热情友好，既专业又周到。昨天，我决定在去芬威克百货（Fenwicks）之前先去本托尔斯购物中心逛逛。我想找一件在《每日快报》（The Daily Express）上看到的特别的衣服。店里没人可以问，我只好一瘸一拐地走到收银台，看到一位年轻女士正在看手机。我犹豫了一会儿，走上前去，她才抬起头看向我。她非常礼貌，面带微笑（就像我从小受到的教育那样），然后我提出了我的要求。嗯！她说，不行，不是你想的那样！我解释了Express的广告，结果那位“热心”的店员（一点也不热心）只是指指点点，“这边，那边，或许那边？” 我不是来买14英镑的特价商品，而是想找些更时尚、价格更高的款式。虽然这对你或者你的员工来说可能无关紧要，但我以后绝对不会再来这家店了，如此对待顾客简直是耻辱。
