A great travel with a great car, thank to Almaz!

After a specific request, since I am 68 years old, which attested to my driving ability in 4×4, having owned a Toyota BJ75 for years, Almaz agreed to make an exception to his rental policy and rented us one of his Toyota Land Cruiser BJ78, spartanly but effectively adapted to sleep inside, which we clearly preferred, compared to the tent or roof tent due to its practical implications. The car, although clearly dated and used (over 400,000 km per odometer), was in excellent mechanical condition and had good oversized tires, allowing it to safely travel any route, obviously without pulling its neck. On steep road gradients and dirt roads it experiences considerable slowness of travel, but on rough routes it moves perfectly at ease.
The body had a few small problems, but nothing that couldn't be solved with a little manual dexterity. The tools for the work are to be checked and integrated, including the key to change the tires. Great thing there was air conditioning. Communication with Almaz was incredibly sober and concise (no American chatter to be clear) but effective, when he said “ok” it was ok, without the need for further confirmation, contracts etc. and when we arrived in Bishkek he was punctual with our vehicle. Throughout the trip he always responded to our requests in a very short time and the return was as simple and informal as we could have asked for. In short, an excellent service, knowing of course that you rent a vehicle to handle with a certain care and expertise. The equipment “camping” included a stove, a table and two seats, all new, while we preferred to buy the kitchen set .
Thank you for the magnificent trip: with this car we still feel the way we were 25 years ago and we fully appreciated the now almost unobtainable freedom of traveling in freedom and safety and sleep where we liked it most, away from everything and everyone, in a country of great beauty and cordial hospitality.
I therefore strongly recommend Almaz as a charterer and this great "old" Toyota to those who appreciate its peculiar characteristics.
