Pantanal Jaguar Safaris的点评
点评：Recently back home from a 10 night trip through Pantanal Jaguar Safaris and it was wonderful. Booking the trip could not have been easier and any questions we had were quickly answered by Leen. My wife and I did a dissapointing Amazon trip a couple years ago in which small far away birds were what our guide pointed out most but on that trip we met some people there that suggested the Pantanal so we gave it a try and so happy we did. Along with 19 different jaguars, some seen numerous times, there were the different monkeys, giant otters, giant anteaters, abundant caiman and capybara, anaconda, deer, crazy amount of different birds including Hyacinth Macaws,a tapir a Tayra and I am sure some others I did not think to mention. We arrived in Cuiaba the day before the safari and stayed at the airport hotel which was very nice and the next morning our guide and driver met us there a few minutes early to begin the Journey.
We could not have hoped for a better person to guide us for the next 11 days. Fabio is a photographer and biologist with a crazy amount of knowledge about the area, he also worked years for Nat Geo in Brazil. Throughout the trip we were given tips on our photography and camera settings, taught some about animal behaviors, Pantanal history and talked a lot about the environment. I do not know if we will be back and do not know if clients can even ask about certain guides but if we went back we would try, although I imagine all the guides are very qualified.
The hotels we stayed in over the ten nights were nice and clean, nothing real fancy but all we did was eat and sleep there. Food was good and plentiful, filtered water, tea and coffee was always available with soft drinks and festive beverages available to buy. We got some great pictures by our standards, some exceptional memories and if there were not so many other places we want to see, we would certainly do it again.
