Not what you'd expect from a spa!
Bannatyne Health Club & Spa - Orpington的点评
点评：We visited Bannatyne Spa in Orpington as a treat for a special anniversary celebration. Sadly it was a deeply disappointing experience.
From arrival, nothing was explained. While we were informed in advance that a deposit would be required for robes and that we could bring our own towels, robes and slippers — which frankly no spa guest should need to do — we were never told that flip flops and a bag would need to be purchased in order to access a towel. This felt wholly unacceptable.
No water or refreshments were offered at any point while waiting for treatments. The lunch menu was equally disappointing — jacket potatoes and basic cafe fare. Not what you would expect or hope for at a spa. A form also needed completing that was never mentioned and only came to light because we asked.
Throughout the visit there was a real lack of warmth, attentiveness and basic care. It felt far more like a leisure centre than a spa. Despite this being a special occasion, not once was it acknowledged by any member of staff.
The treatments themselves were adequate but nothing was explained beforehand — no introduction, no communication whatsoever.
For the price and the occasion this fell well below expectations. 2 stars — we would not return and would not recommend
