Flanders Fields Battlefield Daytours的点评
点评：My fiancée and I booked this tour with very little WW1 knowledge and an expectation of being crammed on a bus full of people.
What we experienced absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. We’ve reminisced and discussed this tour days/weeks later even whilst still travelling around Europe.
Jonas is so passionate about the Great War and his expertise and experience is unparalleled. I can’t speak higher of Jonas and the tour we took, he took just the two of us through Menin Gate and not just a quick drive by but an in depth walk around the monument in thorough detail. He took us to cathedral ruins in Ypres which were honestly breathtaking and not something a solo traveller would be able to locate, he took us to multiple cemeteries, Flanders Fields War Museum, the Brothers in Arms statue, he drove us all around the Hills and explained how the landscape impacted the war efforts. He took us to a private workshop where a man named Jan crates the most magnificent artwork using the remnants of artillery and trench foundations. This was an extremely personalised tour, with just the three of us we were able to ask questions and engage far more.
I won’t forget this experience and can attest to it being worth every penny!
