Climbing down a waterfall and experiencing a local lunch!

点评：We took a custom-made tour from Bucay that ended up being a private tour for just hubby and I. We had a pickup at our hotel in Guayaquil. We drove 2 hours to sample and see how sugar cane is made. After that, we met the nature guide Wilson who took us into the cloud forest for our waterfall tour and told us about the flora and fauna and how the plants around us were used as local remedies.
The waterfall tour was so pretty, and he helped us take some great photos.
The tour ended with canyoneering over the high waterfall. We were beginners, so a little nervous. The locals were there to look at the waterfalls and ended up watching our descent over the falls ---and made us even more nervous.
The guide was very supportive and helpful so hubby and I both made it down the waterfall in one piece.
Afterwards, we changed into dry clothes and had a delicious local lunch. We definitely recommend this tour if you want an adventure!
