Excellent Guiding, Mixed Experience with Hotels and Logistics

点评：We spent a week exploring Azerbaijan, visiting Baku, Sheki, Absheron, and Shamaxi.
Our guide, Lamiya, was absolutely outstanding – knowledgeable, attentive, and a true professional. She made the trip memorable, and we would gladly rate her a 10/10.
That said, a few aspects of the trip fell short of expectations:
Hotel Standards: While the 5-star hotel in Baku was comfortable, the rooms we were given lacked a proper view and felt like a budget-driven choice rather than one focused on guest experience. The hotel in Sheki was very disappointing and did not meet the quality we expected for the trip.
Travel Time: The agency did not make it clear that the 250 km drive to Sheki would take about 5 hours. The long journey reduced the sense of value compared to the limited time we had to explore.
Transparency: The core issue was the lack of detailed and transparent information. Without accurate insights into hotel standards, travel times, and overall logistics, it was difficult to make fully informed choices about the itinerary.
In summary, while we deeply enjoyed Azerbaijan thanks to our exceptional guide, we believe the agency should improve in transparency, hotel selection, and overall planning to better align with guest expectations.
