点评:There are two “notable” hikes in St. Bart’s.
Grand Fond and Colombier. We did both.
The pictures that are posted on this site are (as others have said) probably from a few years ago - or we came at low tide.
The hike is pretty easy to find. There is no real parking lot. You just park off on the right hand side of the road. Walk down the beach to the right and you will see a path that leads out to the ocean.
Walk toward the mountain. It is about a 20 minute hike over to the pools. There’s no shade. But there are many goats.
Pools were great, but very shallow, there’s absolutely no diving. And, bring water shoes!
So many people were disappointed because they could not walk on the rocks. They were like razors on your feet. I brought one pair of Keens which worked well but all the kids had to take turns sharing them.
Overall, it was worth it. Just not exactly like the “diving picture” the kids were hoping to have.
