点评：A truly unacceptable experience
We were completely let down by this taxi company just 2 hours before our scheduled pickup. We had booked and budgeted for a journey costing £300, only to be left scrambling at the last minute and forced to pay £700 to arrange alternative transport.
The financial impact didn’t stop there. Because of the disruption, we then had to pay a further £400 to change our flights.
What made this even more stressful was the circumstances we were travelling in. I am pregnant and travelling with a 1-year-old, so being left without our arranged transport at such short notice caused an enormous amount of unnecessary stress, panic and anxiety. What should have been the start of our journey turned into an incredibly upsetting and exhausting day.
We trusted this company to provide a service that we had booked and paid for, and they failed us at the worst possible time. The additional £800 in costs, on top of the stress and disruption caused, is simply unacceptable.
I would strongly urge anyone considering using this company to think twice. If you make a booking, you should be able to rely on the company to honour it — especially when families are travelling and flights are at stake.
We deserve an explanation and, frankly, I believe we are owed compensation for the significant additional costs and distress their failure caused.
