An Incredible 17 Days with Jean Be

点评：TLDR: Book your tour with Jean Be Tours!! I couldn't imagine having done this trip with any other guide.
What an amazing trip we had with Jean Be. He was extremely responsive during my planning phase and was helpful in proposing slight amendments to my custom tour (which was a sort of combination between his Indri Indri East and Southern Delight tours). He knew I was there to see lemurs, and he made sure the itinerary maximized opportunities to do so. I found the price to be very reasonable for the amount of activities we were doing, the length of our trip, and the services provided. Payment for the deposit was easy, and he continued to be in regular communication up until our trip began.
Once we arrived, we were greeted by Jean at the airport, and we could immediately tell how kind of a man he was. He gave us a small welcome present—which we proudly display in our apartment—and during our short drive into Tana we were already learning so much about Malagasy culture. In addition to Jean, we had a driver join us for the whole journey, who was also extremely kind and funny.
Our hotel stays across the board were all nice, and the local guides we got to spend time with were all extremely knowledgeable. The wildlife was genuinely surreal, and the culture was so interesting to learn about. I found the itinerary did a good job of breaking up long drives (which are unavoidable!) with wildlife sightings and local experiences. You can tell he's a man who cares deeply about his country, which is really refreshing to see; he also cares immensely about his guests' well-being.
Our trip was without a doubt "milay be", and I would not hesitate to book another trip with Jean.
