点评：The Constitution Hill is one of the most significant places I've ever visited as a tourist!
It's a real life juxtaposition of the past apartheid era vs the post apartheid era, on one side it's depressing yet on the other side it's Inspiring.
The tour was guided by an English speaking local guide, it consisted of 2 parts and lasted about 2 hours. It started at the inactive prison compound on one side, and then the Constitutional Court of South Africa on the other side.
On the prison compound side, the tour started with watching a film/documentary about the imprisonment conditions and testimonies of former prisoners, followed by a guided tour inside and around several sections of the prison compound, several historical photos were on display. This is to highlight that some rooms/cells exhibited the torture items/equipment that was previously used, it's optional for visitors to view or skip those rooms.
The tour then proceeded to the Constitutional Court, visitors can view the court hall (not in session), the court building also houses an art gallery.
It's worth mentioning that there are Rest Rooms for visitors in the Court building, and a small (pricy) gift shop outside the Court building.
