点评:I am extremely disappointed with Rentrip (Booking ID: RTB4585994076). This has been a highly unprofessional experience from start to finish.
1. Financial Discrepancy:
My agreed total for a Swift Dzire with pick-up/drop-off was ₹15,500. After paying an advance of ₹5,494, my balance should be ₹10,005. However, the host is demanding a total that brings the cost to ₹16,049. There is a discrepancy of ₹1,044 that nobody is taking responsibility for. This is causing unnecessary friction and is a clear case of overcharging.
2. Poor Vehicle Condition:
The car provided was in a pathetic state. The interior is dirty and smells very bad. Furthermore, the tire pressure was low at the time of delivery, which is a major safety concern. It is clear that no basic maintenance or cleaning was done before handing the car over.
3. Non-existent Customer Service:
I have been asking Rentrip to get in touch for 2 days now. All I get are generic email replies while the host threatens to deduct the discrepancy amount from my refundable deposit. Their support needs to buckle up and stop ignoring customers once the advance is paid.
Avoid Rentrip if you want a transparent and professional rental experience. I am still waiting for a callback to resolve this mess.
