点评:We came here during our holiday on the Isle of Wight. It's a FREE attraction (donations welcome) and - like many places - it's dog friendly. There are not many animal attractions that are dog friendly, so we went to see how our dogs would behave. All staff were incredibly welcoming. It's a lovely place, well run, clean and tidy, with plenty of information boards to explain the work. You can get a guide from the shop (which we did, at a small cost) which lists the donkeys (and ponies) in their care - and you can tick them off when you see them. We thought this was great and saw a few families keeping their little ones entertained playing "spot the donkey" well worth it. The catering was first class and my coffee (see photo) was the best I had all week. We were happy to support this very worthwhile cause and it's a definite five star attraction. You can adopt a donkey and there's a close encounter (pre-booking essential) experience as a paid attraction. A lot of time and effort has gone into this facility. Well worth the trip to see things.
Free parking, disabled facilities, dog friendly, great catering, clean toilets, welcoming staff - what's not to like?
