点评:I had no idea the roads surrounding where I was staying had so many potholes that it was impossible to get any type of rhythm or consistent cadence going. When I gently expressed my frustration, the response I received lacked empathy and offered no solutions. I was told that what I had paid “up front” would not be refunded. That was disappointing in itself; however, when I asked where I could find better biking alternatives, they did respond promptly and sent me a map with a suggestion.
Ideally, I believe the company could have demonstrated a little more empathy — called me, explained the non-refundable policy, and shown genuine interest in my riding experience. To build long-term value and earn a much different review, imagine if they had called, empathized, explained their policy, and then offered a one-on-one tour or experience. A little empathy, a clear explanation, and an opportunity to give a customer a great experience — and they would have made money doing it.
My suggestion to potential renters: only commit to a couple of days at first, check things out, and then — and only then — commit to an extended rental.
