Santuario Padre Pio的点评
点评：I joined the faith in 2019, choosing Saint Padre Pio as my patron. When I was baptized and confirmed, the priest said he had never had anyone choose Pio and asked me why. During some medical issues, I read about Padre Pio, whom I turned to for intercession; it gave me comfort. While awaiting surgery, I prayed and felt peace, trusting Padre Pio's protection. I took a last-minute trip to Rome to visit his shrine, traveling easily by train and bus to San Giovanni Rotondo, and seeing the church where he held mass and heard confessions was powerful. I prayed at his tomb, thanking God for guiding me to Padre Pio and for his intercessions during difficult times. The town is beautiful. Be ready for a very steep hill that leads the way to the Shrine; it's a hike. On the bus ride, if you are squeamish about looking over the edge of a mountain, sit on the driver's side. There are several places to get a meal, have a drink, have a gelato, a pastry, or simply a cup of coffee. There are also several souvenir shops. Locals run these and were the most reasonably priced items I found in the places I visited in Italy.
I recommend this trip to anyone visiting Italy.
