点评：We stopped at Princess Cays in the Bahamas, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. You get there by taking a ship’s tender — a smaller boat that holds around 100 people — since there’s no pier large enough for the cruise ship itself. The tenders run continuously throughout the day, making it easy to go back and forth.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but it ended up being a great day. The weather was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful — special thanks to the two ladies working at the rental equipment hut. The bars were open and serving drinks, and the cruise line set up a beachside buffet barbecue for everyone, which added to the relaxed island vibe.
We decided to rent a pair of lounge chairs and a sun umbrella, which I’d highly recommend if you want some shade and to avoid a sunburn. The beach was very nice, with soft sand and a gentle slope into the water — no sudden drop-offs. The water was crystal clear and warm, perfect for swimming. We even spotted a few stingrays gliding by in the shallows, including one about three feet wide, though it didn’t bother anyone.
Overall, Princess Cays was a pleasant and relaxing stop — much better than I expected!
