Nomadic Off-Road的点评
点评：Fancy a crazy boys’ off-road trip to cross off your bucket list? Yeah… this is it.
Nomadic Off-Road's Orkhon Waterfall Tour is a combination of sand, dirt, rocks, water, and adrenaline. Traversing central Mongolia through some beautiful terrain, you’ll be faced with a little of everything. It’s six days and 1,200 kilometers of mad fun.
One of our team members had a nasty crash on Day 1, which required immediate medical attention. We gave him basic first aid and had to pay a local nomad to use his car to start heading back toward Ulaanbaatar and meet a medical vehicle halfway. Sadly, our guides didn’t have the greatest medical training or gear when the crash occurred. That said, we discussed it at length after returning, and they assured us additional training was coming. So I think future daredevils will be in better hands.
Overall, Nomadic Off-Road does a phenomenal job. The organization, albeit with a first day that was a little too long, the food, the scenery, the lodging—all of it was top-notch.
I would make one strong recommendation for anyone thinking about this trip: have an off-road riding level high enough to enjoy all of it, all the time. Some in our group had a tough time through some of the more difficult terrain, making it difficult to relax and simply enjoy the ride.
Our guides were Tsengelbayar (tour guide), Ankhbayar (motorcycle guide), Sodbayar (support car driver and mechanic), Gandold (kitchen van driver), Tuvshinbayar (chef), and Monkh-Orgil (assistant). They were all phenomenal.
All in all, an experience of a lifetime. Don’t hesitate. Book it!
