点评：Sculpture Trail Disaster. Living in cockington I visit every day to walk my dogs. This year’s sculpture trail can only be described as a total disappointment. Several pieces have been reintroduced from previous years. What on earth were they thinking? Where is the trail ? The entries this year are few and far between and really do look like they have been made by pre schoolers. The inside exhibition of the pirate in the main hall made me laugh as I thought it was a joke. With the exception of several highly skilled pieces this is definitely not something to shout about. Such a shame as previous trails have been excellent. Perhaps so this every other year and be more selective on who you allow to make an entry and of course their abilities. Art I know is subjective but this is going to bring attention for sure but probably not the kind you want. You can do better!
翻译：雕塑巡展惨败。我住在Cockington，每天都会带狗来这里散步。今年的雕塑巡展只能用“彻底令人失望”来形容。好多作品都是从前几年重复展出的。他们到底在想什么啊？所谓的“巡展路线”又在哪里呢？今年的参展作品少得可怜，看上去简直就像是幼儿园小朋友做的。主厅里的海盗主题展览让我忍俊不禁，我还以为那是个玩笑呢。除了几件技艺精湛的作品外，这次的活动实在不值得大肆宣扬。真是可惜，因为以往的展览都十分出色。或许可以改为每两年举办一次，并且更严格地筛选参展者及其能力水平。我知道艺术本身带有主观性，但这次活动肯定会引发关注——只不过这种关注恐怕并非大家所期望的那种。你们完全可以做得更好！
