点评：We had an absolutely amazing visit! We stayed at a nearby hotel and walked over for the 7 pm tasting, which we knew was in Spanish. When we arrived, I explained to the woman who greeted us that I spoke/understood Spanish and could translate for the rest of our party of four if she spoke slowly. She said no need and called in her husband who conducted the tour and tasting for us in English. Even though they were still in harvest season and had a lot of work to do, they made us feel so welcome. We had such a fun time! We enjoyed learning all about the origin of Ribera del Duero, the soils, how the grapes are grown and selected, and each step of the wine making process. The owner then tasted the wines with us, explained the nuances and what food to enjoy them with. He spent so much time with us that we felt like old friends at the end of the visit. Imagine our surprise when we went to purchase their wines and saw how low the prices were -- wow what a value! These wines would retain in the US for at least three times their price. If we make it back to Ribera again, we will definitely visit Baden Numen again. It was our absolute favorite of the eight bodegas that we visited.
