Best Museum I've ever been to, covering much more than you'd expect
国家牛仔与西部文化博物馆的点评
点评：We came to Oklahoma City to stay at Okana Resort Waterpark Resort, and researched things to do in the area. This museum popped up and of course I wanted to go because I ride horses.
The museum blew me away! I also absolutely love American history, and the museum was loaded with it. It would take days to absorb everything this museum has to offer. The sheer number of relics and artifacts was incredible covering a vast array of topics under the umbrella of Western Heritage. There is a huge emphasis on art too, and a massive collection. There is also a large emphasis on Native American history, artifacts, art, etc. which far exceeded what is at the First Americans Museum. Many of the exhibits are walk-through types of things with a ton of detail and theming built around them to enhance the experience (such as the western town). I'm sure my favorite part of the museum would have been the Rodeo section, but it was closed for renovation. The outdoor areas are pristine and beautiful.
Technology: The museum provides many ways to learn. The signs are well-done and enjoyable to read, but here are also auditory exhibits and higher tech automated activities with touch screens. The immersive experience was so cool and well worth it. There are several hands-on learning stations for smaller kids.
Staff were so professional, courteous, informative, and enthusiastic. You would think they are working for tips, the way they thoughtfully offer assistance and information.
The gift shop was well done. I'm not even a big shopper and would normally never buy from a gift shop, but I found a really cute sweater and my daughter got a cowboy hat which she needs for showing her horse. She would have wanted a belt and buckle too but I cut her off.

工作人员非常专业、礼貌、热情，而且知识渊博。他们如此周到地提供帮助和信息，你会觉得他们是靠小费吃饭的。
礼品店也很不错。我平时不太爱逛街，通常也不会在礼品店买东西，但这次我找到了一件非常可爱的毛衣，我女儿还买了一顶牛仔帽，她参加马术比赛需要用到。她还想要一条皮带和皮带扣，但我阻止了她。
