点评:There are many waterfalls in Phang Nga in various locations. Within this national park there are three, two of which can involve wading through the river! We visited the Tam Nang waterfall which was accessed by an approximate 1 km walk through the rain forest which, in itself, was worth the effort. Magnificent trees and a host of other shrubs and plants. Take care though as it’s very easy to trip on the tree roots. Look up and and also look down. We saw several beautiful butterflies and many other insects in the leaf litter. As you make your way along the path by the river, there are many fish to be seen in the clear waters.
The waterfall itself is amazing although we were lucky as there had been recent rain. Take care near the waterfall as the rocks and ground are slippery.
Entrance to the National Park 100 baht for non Thais, 20 baht for Thais and 30 baht for car parking. Considering what is to be seen and experienced, the fees represent extremely good value.
There are National Park staff around who were very helpful when we visited and toilets are available by the car parking. The other two waterfalls are apparently worth visiting although smaller and will involve crossing the river and would not be accessible for anyone with mobility problems.
Highly recommended.
