Incredible Canoe Trip Down the River Spey!

点评：A fantastic 5 day paddle down the river Spey in late October with my best friend and my dad! Neither my friend nor I had much experience paddling, but from day one, our amazing guide Steven began teaching us paddling techniques: how to read the river, what an eddy was, the best stroke to turn quickly. He was incredibly intuitive, knowing when to teach us a new skill and when to let us practice.
Not only that, but we all learnt so much about the river itself! Steven knew a lot about the bridges, previous floods and the rich surrounding history.
The scenery was incredible, but the best part of the trip was the around the campfire chats and laughs. Steven, thank you so much. You're an incredible human being, and we all loved the opportunity of getting to know you!
I cannot recommend Scottish Rock and Water enough. No matter your skill set or age (my friend and I are fifteen) this trip is not to be missed: brilliant company and breathtaking scenery.
In fact, Steven shouldn't be surprised if we show up a few years down the line for another go. Thank you, Scottish Rock & Water!
