The Ringling的点评
点评：The house tour was totally worth it. I liked being able to scan a code & use my phone to listen to the history on my cell phone & explore at my own pace. The grounds were immaculate, the art museum had top artists, the circus museum has done a great job restoring it all to its glory days & saving Americana. My teenager’s favorite part was a miniatures circus display —all done by one man!
Only negative was that there were not enough video rooms. We wanted to teach the kids something about the early lives of the Ringling Brothers. And how the buyout took place from Barnum & Bailey. And The current state of circuses & similar events. And what the future holds. And Interviews today of elderly people reminiscing the good ole days. So many missed opportunities. And (perhaps for an extra fee) videos of circuses from start to end using old footage.
The Board is focusing on the wrong things. We don’t need to see more art being acquired. We need more video rooms showing our young people about how circuses played a role in shaping America.
Still, 5 Stars for sure
