点评：Visited Hayes Garden centre at Ambleside for breakfast, normally we only call in here for the plants. The Café is upstairs; there is a small lift that you could use and dogs are welcome and a corner of the café is dedicated for them and their owners. You find a table then go and order and pay for the food, then it is waiter service. Vegetarian friendly, Vegan options, Gluten free options. There is outside seating but unfortunately it was raining. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant. The food arrived very quickly as there were only a couple of couples in when we got there, I can well imagine it will be a nightmare in high season and long waits for food, so we were lucky as we intentionally choose to visit out of season and call as soon as they opened. It was worth it the food was on hot plates and the toast came with 2 pats of butter; you have a choice of eggs. We both had the full English breakfast one with the black pudding as an extra. The food was very good; everything was well cooked and tasty. The only gripes we had were the black pudding although tasty was dry and what you got was what we class as a small English breakfast and even that we had to add the black pudding as an extra. Unfortunately, we have to say it was not good value for money that was on the plate, but again the food was good. Still worth a visit especially if you can dine outside.
