Disappointing Santa experience

点评：We visited Hayes Garden Centre Saturday 20th December for the Santa experience, which we have done in previous years and absolutely loved. Sadly, this year was a real disappointment.
In the past, the experience has felt magical, well organised and genuinely worth the money. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. The maze leading to Santa was very short and extremely busy, which meant our children did not really get the chance to enjoy or take part in the activities properly. Everything felt rushed and far less interactive than before.
The biggest let-down was the Santa experience itself. Santa was portrayed by a very young person with an American accent and did not resemble or embody the traditional Santa at all. Our children actually came out laughing because it felt so unrealistic, which completely broke the magic. This was especially upsetting as we have always trusted and praised the Hayes Santa experience in previous years.
Given the cost, we expected the same high-quality, immersive experience we have enjoyed before, but instead left feeling that our time and money had been wasted. It is genuinely disappointing to be writing this, as Hayes has always been somewhere we have happily recommended to others.
