点评:As a recent transplant to Florida, I wanted to join a club that was close by and convinced my friend to do it with me. It was a nice enough day that we decided to ride bicycles there instead of driving as we didn’t plan on playing on the day. We were immediately stopped in the parking lot and told to get our bikes off the property. We are both in our 60s and we’re not riding any faster than anybody else was walking. A second person came out and told us to stop riding on the golf course. We had been there for no more than two minutes and had never left the paved parking area.
Both of them had looks as if they caught us breaking rules, and we had no idea what we could’ve possibly done.
We both looked at each other and decided that we were better off abandoning our quest for the day and found a course just a little bit further, but with friendly staff.
I wonder if they would’ve treated me better if I had pulled up in my Escalade.
