A wonderful personalised trip and Suneth was a very knowledgeable driver/host.

点评：Darshana Tours was discovered after a Google search and they delivered the tour we desired and more. We appreciated the ease of paying and communicating as some other companies seem to add surcharges for using a credit card or were not as easy to communicate with.
A few days before arrival we had contact e-mails from the company and Suneth our driver for the tour which was reassuring.
We were met by Suneth at the airport and he could not have been any more welcoming or considerate. He listened to what we did NOT want to see on our trip, as we were going up to Jaffna and did not want a standard Sri Lankan tour. We had booked a mini c]van as we wanted space and the vehicle was top notch with great air conditioning.
We spent many hours chatting on route, learning about birds, the civil war, politics today, Italian food and more......and we loved his companionship. He drove very courteously and survived a few police stops for 'offences' that he certainly had not committed....the chap knew the system. No money changed hands and we were again soon on our way.
We had various places that accommodated us however Suneth made sure we saw and experienced the local flavour and had Tuk-Tuk chums who would drive us around remote islands which he organised for us with ease.
We discussed everything from the civil war, Italian food, religion and do take socks for temple viewing as the ground does indeed get VERY hot...car styles, politics today and more......the hours zoomed by.
We would 100% recommend the company and we hope Suneth that the single malt has now been drunk....you do indeed have VERY good contacts!
