Confirmed Booking, No Record at Port — Stressful Experience

点评：We booked a private evening boat transfer to LikuLiku Resort after our flight delay caused us to miss our original transfer with South Sea Cruises. The booking was made through FijiBookings, with Rosie Holidays CC’d, and operated by Mamanuca Express.
Despite having a booking confirmation, when we arrived at the Mamanuca Express office at the port, staff had no record of our transfer and appeared surprised to see us. We waited over an hour while the issue was investigated, during which it became clear that the booking had not been properly communicated or had been forgotten.
We ultimately departed about 90 minutes late, after dark. The entire process felt rushed and disorganized, including uncertainty about the boat and skipper at the port.
Once on the water, the experience felt unsafe:
No life jackets were provided
The boat appeared poorly maintained
Conditions felt rougher than communicated
Staff took our photo to text the resort to confirm we were “on our way,” which felt somewhat unprofessional and unsettling…
I experienced significant distress during the journey and was crying due to fear. While the skipper and his assistant were kind and slowed down when asked, the overall experience felt unsafe, improvised, and below acceptable safety standards.
We are just grateful to have arrived safely, but we would not use this transfer service again. For comparison, our return transfer with South Sea Cruises was smooth, professional, and reassuring.
