点评：Had a good, not great meal. Eggs Bennie were kind of boring although the fruit side was great. Ambiance really pleasant on the deck bc they have allowed a lot of trees to mature, offering shade.
However….Customers need to know that when the check comes, there will be a mandatory 20% “auto-gratuity”. I put the term “gratuity” in parentheses bc manager seems to be confusing a required fee with an optional tip for good service. I know this 20% is MANDATORY because I adjusted the amount to 15% for good service, and the server caught my spouse on the way out and told him we had underpaid the bill. I didn’t expect to be shamed for tipping 15%!!
So when you calculate the cost of the meal, be sure to add in 20% extra. The $14 eggs are really $17; the $9 cocktail is really $11. Either way, can restaurants PLEEEEZE just pay their staff a Living Wage and stop asking customers to do it for them?! Enough already!
