Amazing Safari - Avoid option for Spice Garden!

点评：We had a wonderful experience with Pradeep, who picked us up in Weligama at our hostel. We paid £89 each for the tour which was above our budget but it was worth it for a private safari! We had a great time at Udawalawe national park and saw lots of animals, it was truly majestic! At the end of the day we even panicked, as we had lost our wallet and luckily it was in the possession of Pradeep and he arranged to meet us asap! Thank you 🙏
The reason we are giving a 4 star review is because after the safari we were taken to a Spice garden called ‘luck Uyana Herbal Medicines Garden’ - please read the reviews for this place! It was a tourist trap and you felt pressured to tip and buy products, even if you don’t want to or need to. It was a horrible feeling and ruined the morning. I would suggest telling tourists first that they are expected to part with money so they have the option to opt out of this experience! We 100% wouldn’t have gone! We weren’t even going to take money with us on the safari but luckily we did. We also had to tip the driver so there is another extra coat not included in the price. We had a lovely day - bar the spice garden.
