HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TRIP TO COTE DE BEAUNE - - - WOW, WHAT AN EXPERIENCE
Château de la Crée的点评
点评：We visited 4 of the top 10 listed wineries in the Cote de Beaune area, and all were very good, although Chateau de la Cree was exceptional. Why? Most wineries pour wine, although Chateau de la Cree pours wine and also pours an experience! Worth noting: Chateau de la Cree was the ONLY winery that poured wine in true wine glasses, and also used several different wine glasses during our experience. The other wineries used a single, smaller glass throughout all of the tasting pours. Also, of the 4 wineries we visited, Chateau de la Cree was the only one that provided us a tour of the vineyard and wine caves. In the wine cave is a room of visuals to enhance your knowledge of the soils of the area . . . what truly makes a difference and how.
Our host Ahmed Thomas (grew up in the area . . . a true local) is so passionate and knowledgeable about truly everything you could ever know about the area, soils, wine making, tasting wine, etc. We booked the morning tour, although after our tour we would of booked another tour, if we did not have others already booked . . . as we felt we came away with so much knowledge, and were thisting for more.
We have been our wine tastings/tours throughout the world . . . and both my wife and I believe Ahmed provided one the best, if not the best, tasting/tours we have ever experienced? Why? Ahmed pours wine + pours an experience. Thank you, once again, Ahmed. P.S. Definitely our first booked tour when we return one day again.
