Seriously dangerous do not attempt unless bridges replaced

点评：Foolishly went here and I cannot stress enough how dangerous it is. Different websites say how lovely it is and perhaps it is if you can safely get there. At first our common sense went out the window as starting to walk down you can see the footpaths that have been put there, so obviously at some point time and money spent here so we WRONGLY assumed things would get better, they didn't, and we then had the sense to stop and go back to the car. We can't believe we did three bridges as with hindsight it was a serious accident waiting to happen. The bridges are all rotten with walking boards missing and rickety handrails and if you happen to be on it when it breaks you will - at best - seriously injure yourself. Husband went over the third bridge and as I went to go the second board seriously moved which was frightening so I stepped back off it so he carefully came back and we abandoned the trip. We don't normally take risks and shocked we did but don't want anyone else reading this to even attempt it. If something happens no-one will know you are there and doubt you'd get any help as no phone signal. Then as walking back to the car a snake slithered really quickly across our path literally right in front of my husband. It had taken us about 45 minutes to get to this point from the car, after seeing this snake we think we got back in 15 minutes!!!
It's a real shame they've let this deteriorate so badly as it could be lovely and we think someone could do guided tours for those who'd prefer. Whilst it is so bad they really should make it impossible to venture down there and have plenty of signs in place but there is nothing to warn you. Seriously DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS ALL REPAIRED.
