Cesar Chavez photo should be removed

点评：This review is actually about the LBJ Presidential Museum. With friends in town we took them to the museum. I noticed that one exhibit called, “ from exclusion to reform,” included a big picture of a smiling Cesar Chavez. Now with the recent revelation of his sordid, criminal activities against women, I would have thought the regents would have removed this big photo of him and replaced it with any other picture. Truly, any other farming picture would work in it’s place and any other picture would be a welcome substitution. We continued on in the tour and about 1 pm we went up to the tenth floor. This is the first time I saw someone working at an information podium to the right of the mock up of the oval office. I casually mentioned the photo might be better off removed. The gray haired female volunteer replied it was history and made a remark that maybe the women should not have waited decades to speak up. Now I believe victim shaming is not at all appropriate in this matter. It was remarkable how defensive she became. She then proceeded to bash our current president. Volunteers with more empathy would be a welcome addition to this museum. Just my thoughts.
