点评:The tour guide was very rude and controlling. She reminded us more than once that we could only get out if she let us out -- almost in a threatening way. She really liked her power over us.
She was very thrown off and upset by any questions that were asked, even after she said "Ok, now ask your questions" she was irritated that my question was part of the next part of the tour.
She delighted in asking questions I did not know the answer to because she clearly enjoyed making people feel stupid. I spent the entire two hours pretending to laugh at her and waiting for it to be over.
What upset me the most is this:
She took the time to explain how inhumane the conditions of the jail were up until the 70s (no real plumbing, liquid/food once a day, extreme heat/cold, no light, no art/books for prisoners, etc.) When I reacted to this, she corrected me that I do not need to feel bad because these were prisoners. She later deeply contradicted herself and told us how great Jesse and Frank James were and that their crimes were overblown and she would've ridden with them.
She made a point to tell us that prisoners today have way too many rights, and explained how they get to see the same doctors she does. She has no empathy or compassion in her heart. Ironically, she told also told us about her church and prayer group. It was honestly a very disgusting rampage she went on and I cannot recommend to anyone to visit this place so long as this woman is in charge.
