点评：At 60 years old I can quite honestly say that I have been to the illuminations almost every year of my life since being a teenager.
They’re simple sparkly happy fun.
They’re completely free and brighten up the night sky.
We love them, always have and always will. Not only that but now they are on until January! How amazing.
Combined with a few kids games in Coral Island, fish and chip supper, gift shops lined with rock and a walk on the pier, this is a British tradition.
Yes Blacky is a little Tacky in parts, but it has the true soul and fun of a seaside resort.
Everyone is kind and if you are lucky enough to go in the day light then there’s a lovely beach, the Pleasure Beach, Tower and fun fair too.
We had a great few hours there and ended with unlimited coffee in Wetherspoons. What’s not to love!
