点评：This is a beautiful place to see alpine meadows, and it is worth the drive.
You have a 3-hour limit for parking, and you need to get a free ticket when you arrive. Three hours is enough since only the Hidden Lake Trail is currently open.
The trail takes about 1 hour each way if you walk slowly. It consists mostly of wooden stairs leading up to the lake.
There are lots of wildflowers—almost like a carpet of purple, white, red, and yellow. We also saw many animals, including Columbian ground squirrels, a marmot, and even a mountain goat.
Majestic mountains surround the area, making the scenery spectacular.
Keep in mind that the weather is unpredictable. It is usually much colder than in the lower areas. During our two hours there, it was very windy and cold, then rainy, and finally sunny and a little hot. Wear layers and be prepared for changing conditions.
