A beautiful garden that exceeded my expectations.
Beth Chatto's Plants & Gardens的点评
点评：I have wanted to visit Beth Chatto’s garden for years and this weekend we finally made it.
I was curious to see, knowing that there was a particular emphasis on planting in dry gardens, just how well the plants had survived this recent series of heatwaves.
Well, the gardens looked beautiful. All the plants were well maintained and about 95% were clearly labelled.
I hadn’t realised just how vast the gardens were or that there were plants for dry shade, boggy areas etc.
There were plenty of seating areas provided where you could sit and admire the view.
The cafe had a good selection of food and drink and the plant nursery was well stocked and well organised. I couldn’t resist buying several plants.
The gift shop had well selected gardening gifts for adults and children.
Sadly we don’t live close enough to visit often.
