Animals on "display" seem neglected

点评：Visited this ranch with family. Upon entry it was clear there were way too many animals crammed into muddy pens, many with no water. Two baby emus were in a crushed dog kennel with zero food and a dried, empty water container. As the owner "Cowboy Al" tried to put on a show with his parrot, I asked a passing worker to please give the birds some water, which he did. As Al's parrot show continued, I watched as the birds quickly drank every bit of water they could from the tiny container. Nearby, a giant rabbit lay in a wire kennel in the sun with no food, water, or bedding. The entire staff acted as if nothing was wrong. Geese drank from green water in kiddie pools, and debris and trash scattered the entire facility. In the last barn we entered, there were at least 6 cattle in one muddy stall, again with zero food or water. I asked the same worker to please give them water, which he did. After he filled only a 5 gallon bucket with water, two cows fought over drinking it. If you care about animal welfare at all, AVOID THIS PLACE. It made our family sad to see such blatant mistreatment of animals, depriving some of the basic necessities such as water and proper shelter. Unbelievable.
