点评：Fantastic small museum in a beautifully restored medieval palazzo showcasing the live of philanthropist Olof Gollcher and his love for collecting art and valuable object d’art. The whole place offers a rare glimpse into a sumptuous private world and shows how aristocracy lived behind the thick, elegant facades of Mdina mansions. Great collection of period furniture and some impressive paintings as well as a large number of antique memorabilia can be admired on the first floor of the palazzo where the owners lived. There are 17 rooms in total and to see everything in detail, one should allow at least an hour to take it all in before taking a relaxing break in a lovely rooftop cafe with great panoramic views of Mdina. Audio guides are available and help to understand the history of the place and its owners. Better to visit early in the morning.
