Houdini Museum, Tour & Magic Show WEEKENDS的点评
点评：Not having any expectations, I was thoroughly enthralled with my tour, given by Dorothy, at the Houdini museum. This amazing collection lives in a very ordinary, non descriptive house that tells you what’s inside with minimal signage. But, get inside and be wowed. You will see artifacts that belonged to Harry Houdini, plus all kinds of memorabilia from his life. As one of the caretakers of the collection, Dorothy will tell personal stories, demonstrate items and do an actual magic show with admission; she is magic herself.
In my opinion, I’m thinking that Scranton PA is missing an opportunity to attract visitors by not promoting or providing a larger venue for the Houdini collection. There are many empty stores downtown that could make this a main attraction. Just a thought.
