点评：I had a pleasant start to my visit at Harry P. Leu Gardens, thanks to a very helpful receptionist who stored my heavy backpack in a locker. The Welcome Center is excellent, featuring a nice café and plenty of parking. I spent time exploring the various sections, including the tropical, butterfly, and secret gardens, as well as the palms (though the rose garden was closed for an event). One thing I really appreciated was that the plants were very well-labeled throughout. I was also interested in the museum, but found that the 30-minute tours end at 12:30 PM, so I unfortunately missed that part of the experience. On the positive side, the atmosphere created by the massive oak trees and Spanish moss is beautiful, and I loved the creative birdhouses—the "fish camp" design was a lovely, unique touch. I also spent a wonderful time by Lake Rowena watching turtles, ducks, and anhingas; it's a perfect spot if you bring binoculars. While it was a nice day outdoors and a great place for picnic, I have to be honest that the landscaping was a bit different than I expected. I had hoped for a more curated, professionally designed botanical garden.
