点评:We rode the train to Silverton. First thought, not very good. We ate at the High Noon Cafe for lunch. This place was very clean and they were fast at getting our food. The food was good and the employees were very nice. We went to a gift shop called Gertie's Gifts, the lady that checked us out was very rude, and I mean rude. My husband asked her if they gave military discount, she didn't reply. He held his ID up to show her and she ignored him. The other cashier waved for us to come to her when the rude cashier turned and said to us,"You didn't have to shove your ID in my face!" I replied that he didn't, that he was trying to show you and you didn't reply. In fact she had turned her head and wasn't even looking at his ID. She then started slamming our things as she checked us out. She had a major attitude and shouldn't be working in retail. I have worked in retail most of my life and you don't treat people like that. If you are having a bad time or day, step away and calm down. Don' take it out on your customers. They are the ones that pay your salary. She didn't even say, I'm sorry to us. The town was a let down, a lot of the places were closed and run down. The people at the camera shop were the sweetest and so kind to us.Next time we will just stay on the train until the return trip.
