Grand Canyon Trail Rides的点评
点评：The staff was friendly, which I appreciated. However, the trail itself is quite narrow, and even though we were told these were gentle horses, they frequently led us directly into tree branches and thorny pine trees.
About five minutes into the ride, my 11-year-old was steered into a tree branch. Shortly after, my own horse walked me straight into a large pine tree branch that nearly knocked me off. These weren’t small bushes—these were full branches. Even when I tried to guide the horse away, it continued pushing through the trees.
When I brought it up, the trainer mentioned that the horses are “like big kids” and will do as they please. That response didn’t provide much reassurance, especially with children involved.
We ended what was supposed to be an hour-long ride after just 20 minutes because the experience felt unsafe and anxiety-inducing. I’m sharing this so other parents are aware—this didn’t feel like an isolated issue, and I would strongly suggest using caution when considering this activity with kids.
