点评：This market does not have stalls selling cooked food or drink…..( the one in CADIZ has that in spades)
This is a very typical market selling amazingly fresh local fish fruit vegetable's spices olives charcuterie etc.
Luis Zarzana (Number 31) selling large fish, no seafood, has been there for many many years, if you are in a hurry don’t go. I’ve queued for 2 hours only to find he’s sold out. He knows his regulars and treats everyone with love and care. It’s a masterclass as he stokes the lovingly filleted fish, an art form.. Restuarant staff rock up every morning going to the front of the queue for an order so be prepared for that. They are no queue jumping!
All the hustle and bustle of a very lively market. Bars etc are 50 meters away. Just yards from Plaza ESteve for the local buses doing a circular route . if you hop on you will be dropped off from where you started. Don’t forget to buy a Bahia de Cadiz transport card from Tabacs 6 euros use like an Oyster card and all local buses and trains discounted to pennys! I card can be used for groups.
