DISASTEROUS Eco Adventures Wanaka "MistyMtn Heli-Hike"
瓦纳卡生态之旅的点评
点评：Due to high winds, Helicopter landed on different location than where he usually lands. (Guide said he had NEVER been left in this location!) We had to hike UP a 45° slope, covered in "scree" -- thin, LOOSE shale rock slivers that slide out from under your feet with every step!!
After almost an hour of this treacherous climbing, we STILL had NOT reached the "starting point" for our hike! While we rested, our guide went ahead to access where we needed to go to get to the "trail." (Even he slid/struggled, when returning to us!) My husband & I decided this was TOO DANGEROUS to continue, and we advised our guide that we wanted to ABORT this hike & wait for the helicopter to return. Our guide was very kind and led us get DOWN to a spot to await helicopter pick-up.
We feel, with the change in helicopter's landing site, our Guide SHOULD HAVE made the decision to Abort this Heli-hike & refund us at least part of our money!! When we called to book this hike, we asked the level of difficulty and Eco Adventures told us that it was "Moderate" and "easily do-able if of average fitness." (We are 61yo & 63yo couple of above-average fitness, used to hiking 3-4 mile hikes, but had NEVER hiked on "scree!")
After aborting/while waiting for helicopter, we asked our guide what HE felt this hike should be rated (BASED ON WHERE WE HAD TO START), and he said 4 of 5!! (NOT "easily do-able")
An Eco Adventures employee called us 2-3 hours after our hike and said he heard we had some "difficulties" and asked if we were OK, and I told him that we felt very misled and were very disappointed with this tour! (He never offered us any refund or re-booking!!)

我们认为，由于直升机降落地点的变更，我们的向导本应决定取消这次直升机徒步行程，并至少退还我们部分费用！预订这次徒步时，我们询问了难度等级，Eco Adventures 告诉我们是“中等难度”，并且“如果体能一般，很容易完成”。（我们是一对61岁和63岁的夫妇，体能高于平均水平，经常徒步3-4英里，但从未在碎石坡上徒步过！）
取消行程后/等待直升机期间，我们问向导他认为这次徒步应该评几级（根据我们出发的地点），他回答说4级（满分5级）！（而不是“很容易完成”）
徒步结束后2-3小时，Eco Adventures 的一名员工打电话给我们，说他听说我们遇到了一些“困难”，问我们是否一切安好。我告诉他，我们感觉被严重误导，对这次旅行非常失望！ （他从未提出退款或改签！！）
