点评:During our vacation on the Big Island, we wanted to be sure we visited a coffee plantation. Thunder Mountain was one we found online, which was fairly near to where we were staying in Kailua-Kona, and offered tours and free tastings. Anna was our tour guide, and did an awesome job of explaining and showing things to us. Learned a lot about coffee, how it's grown, how it's made, and had no idea of some of the truths of coffee.....especially that lighter roasts have more caffeine! There are really 2 parts of the tour: the one around the production facility, which they walk you through and explain how it's all done. And then there is a short self guided walking tour around the grounds. I think it's technically free, but they do ask for a $10 donation....well worth it.
The coffee itself is very good.....all of it! But our favorite, and the one we bought a bag of, was the Black and Tan. Great way to spend an hour.

这里的咖啡真的很好喝……每一款都是!不过我们最喜欢的,也是我们买了一袋带走的,就是“黑棕混合咖啡”。花一个小时来体验这个过程真是再合适不过了。
