点评：Amazingly, in peak tourist season, they close on Sunday and Monday. I was saddened to see they had closed when I got there, and was not the only one in the parking lot. Two car loads of German tourists came, and by the time I left, 8 other vehicles had come, so I went from car to car and told them the visitor centre was closed, and they could roll the dice for other exhibits, but I was not walking around in 32 degree heat for an hour if you could not see or do anything. It is a pity Parks Canada can offer free admission, but could not even have a skeleton crew keeping this attraction open during summer holidays. I was leaving the area that same day, so I will have to try some other year. So much for keeping your tourism dollars at home, a National Historic site in the USA would NEVER be close on weekends during peak seasons.
