点评:The trail consists of a ~5 mile loop easily covered in 1.5-2 hours, with both legs converging on the boardwalk leading to the promontory with views over the bay. Nice but not spectacular; if you are into views you get similar from at the car stop just under the Skyline exit. More interesting for me were the flora and the fauns: the trail is crafted to take you across several interesting ecosystems that most visitors wouldn't normally have access to; there are many birds (I heard White-throated, Song, Savannah, Lincoln sparrows; Magnolia, Blackburnian, Yellow, Blackthroated Green warblers...).
The trail is well maintained and the Parks is doing a good job with the reservations etc. On my AllTrails GPS were a couple of listed trails nearby which were all blocked by CP, they clearly don;t want you around without supervision.
